I take commissions for wildlife pieces as well as pet portraits, including dogs, cats and horses. The price list available on this page is for pet portraits in coloured pencil. If you require a price for an acrylic portrait or a wildlife piece, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
To find out more about how the commissioning process works, see the detailed steps below, along with a list of my standard sizes and prices available.
If you have any questions I'll be happy to help.
Process
1
Size
Select the portrait size
I draw the head and shoulders of your pet which allows me to capture all the characteristics and expressions you love about them. However,
please let me know if you would be interested in a full body portrait and I can give you an accurate quote.
Sizes refer to the portrait size, mounting is in addition to this and can be made to a standard or requested frame size.
2
Reference
Choose a photo
In order to create the
best likeness with a high level of detail, I require good quality photographs taken in natural light. I’m happy to work from a few photographs if you are having more than one subject as it is hard to get them all to look great in one photo!
Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
For additional pets in the same portrait, please add 25% per subject.
3
Booking
Confirm with a deposit
Once we have confirmed the size and reference photographs, I ask for a non refundable 25% deposit to book your slot. Details will be sent in an invoice via email. I will give you an approximate start date for your portrait and will keep in touch with updates of the drawing so you can see the progress.
Let me know if it's a surprise and I'll keep it a secret until you have gifted the portrait.

As part of my passion to support animal welfare and conservation through my artwork, 10% of each pet portrait commission is donated to Dogs Trust. As the UK's largest dog welfare charity, supporting their work helps to ensure that many dogs have a happy, healthy life.
Over the last 50 years they have provided life changing care and forever homes for over 14,000 of our furry friends and campaign to promote responsible dog ownership.
