  • Resilience: the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness 

    In this piece I wanted to create a sense of beauty, power and purpose to represent both the lions themselves, but also the  dedication and amazing resilience of the people who work out in the conservation field protecting wildlife.  

    ‘Resilience’ was the first in the 'Reams of Hope' (2023) collection to be given a title following a theme based around the qualities shown in both wildlife and the stories of conservation success.
