This piece depicts the unusual yet amazing male Proboscis monkey. Found in the forests of Boreo along the coastal regions, these primates live in family groups and are very keen swimmers.

The title 'Who Knows' gives a subtle nod to their enormous nose, but more widely relates to the unknown, uneducated or apathetic feeling towards our natural world. So many people are experiencing life on this planet with very little thought of the wildlife and environment around them. I created this piece to be a conversation starter as well as honouring the wonderful proboscis species.

It is understandable that art can look different in person compared to the online representation of the product.
